Domestic helper in hong kong applying for a visiting visa to canada

Hi guys I need your help... I am currently working here in hong kong as a domestic helper and my friend is inviting me to visit her in canada, she will be sending me an invitation letter... Is there a possibility that it will not be question? I will process my visiting visa here in hong kong since I am currently working here although I am a filipino citizen... Can u help me answer this guys... Thanks...

As long as you are legally residing in HK, and your residence address is in HK, I don't see any reason why you couldn't apply in HK.
