Hey, im doing my medicals tomorrow morning, and im a little unsure what im doing.
So i've gotten my FBI background check back last week and have set up appointment for my medical. Do i receive the hard copy of my physical or do i have doctors office send it to.... send it to who?
Im worried im paying for a medical and im not doing it right.
Can anyone give me some advice or let me know if im unprepared?
It's faster if you perform your medicals upfront. The doctor will give you an E-medical that you attach with your application.
If not upront, you'll have to wait untill CIC ask you the exams and it may cause some delay on your process.

I hope you have gone thru this link

All of us who did upfront medicals, did it before we sent off our application package.
First you need to choose a panel physician who has emedical system in his office.
If you just let them know you are there to do upfront medicals, they should take care of everything. You have to carry your identity docs.
Before you leave the doctors office, collect your emedical information sheet which contains your UMI# and another sheet which specifically says , attach this to your application package and your receipt. Submit all these to CIC along with ur forms and CIC will be able to pull ur medicals and link it to ur file.
See: if you wait for CIC asks you the medicals, it take some time between e-mails sent, you make an appointment, do the medical and send back to CIC.
It's an unnecessary delay in my opinion.
The doctor will provide you with two emedicwl receipts, you will send one copy to cic and keep the second for your personal records. Do not leave the office without obtaining these as The barcode on the emedical will be scanned by cic to pull up ur file without that they will not be able to pull up your medical results.
