Does US Citizen originally from India applying for Canadian PR require to obtain Police Clearance from India?

Hello,

My mother is a US citizen originally from India and now my sister in Canada has applied for her PR. Will my mother require to obtain Police Clearance certificate (PCC) from India?

Also, will she require to obtain federal PCC from USA ?

Please share your experience.

If I'm not mistaken, she would need both from India and USA.
