does the PA's age matter?

a friend of mine is about to get married overseas (in Pakistan), and I'm going to bw helping him with the sponsorship process once he's back next month. he was asking me questions about how eligibility works and we got to talking about what things the CIC might consider red flags.

one of the things he brought up is that he, the sponsor, is 26 and his wife is 21. the age difference doesn't look too bad to me, but would the young age of his wife be a point of concern? this will be an arranged marriage too.

No, a 5 year difference is not a red flag.

That is a perfectly normal age difference in Pakistan, so it would not be an issue. Now if the wife were significantly older, it would be a red flag.
