I completed my Masters in Ontario and am working now. My student permit and student visa (S-1) expired and I have a work permit now till 2020. I also have a visitors visa (V-1) till 2024. The question is - do I need to apply for a working visa as well or will I be allowed to re-enter Canada based on my visitor visa (V-1) and work permit?

A TRV is a TRV. As long as it is valid, you can travel on your current one without issue.
