Does Sydney Nova Scotia office process applications

quick question , a friend of mine was told by the call center and her Mp that her file may be fully processed in the Sydney Nova Scotia office .
Could this be the case with all the overload at the Mexico VO?

Sydney is processing background check now . Once they finish they send it to VO for Passport request. If they need more details on BGC they will escalate it to VO.

That’s interesting because her background check according to notes has not started . But thank you again for the prompt answer

Thats the same as my friend. Good to know that they are trying to hold off overloading the Other VO. Unfortunately I am at a SLOW vo. Mexico. But Im just waiting for an update. We have 11 weeks left and absolutely no movement whatsoever. last update was them asking for updated schedule A and divorce certificates lol (fyi neither of us have previously been married) I will wait it all out

I know gckey is usually wrong and many people don't trust it but my bgc and eligibility has been in process since I linked. I called the other day and the agent told me criminality has passed and security and eligibility not started. I too wonder if they are just going to do the majority in Sydney and send to Mexico for PPR.

So strange, my eligibility has been in process since day one and thats it. Other than medicals passed . I dont rely on the gckey key anyways haha. 11 weeks away !!!! heres hoping this is done before that

Interesting A girl in a group i belong to was told the same thing, The only difference was she was told only files with interviews go to the VO??? I find that to be 100% incorrect, with respect to interview
