Does SP approval by CIC means passport with TRV ready

Hello EVERYONE,

I got a message from CIC on the April 15th saying a decision has been made on my application and my passport is needed to finalise it. I used the online application. So I forwarded my passport through express mail and the next day I got letter of approval in my inbox at the CIC online application system. However, there was nothing like whether or not I can order courier to take my passport from the embassy since I didn't include prepaid envelope. I don't know if the approval means I have been also issued with TRV. Because I guess they needed my passport for that. The embassy doesn't take calls. Could anyone advice if I can order for my passport? I got the approval letter on April 17.

Most likely visa will be issued.

which area u applying.

Once passport is ready they shall call you to pick up the passport and how u wud like to receive it.

usually they would courier it and u will pay a fee when passport is to be collected.

Thank you. I applied in Moscow, Russia. I used the online application system. My friends who submitted their application through VFS (CVC) - paper application - told me when they received approval of STUDY PERMIT, the same day their passports with TRV were sent to the VFS. I did not use this services. I checked on their website and said when when we inform you that you are approved for your permit or TRV being issued then you should order for your passport to be couriered to you. So I'm kind of confused if the approval letter I got means I can order for my passport because I really need the pasport urgently.

Here I mean the passport is already with the embassy. If I order for my passport (which is already at the embassy), then the courier company will take my passport from the embassy and send it to me (so I pay for it when I get it). I hope it clear now?

your visa has been stamped if you send it along with your application.

usually they give you a call saying passport is ready for pick up.

I applied online so I didn't send my passport along. I sent my passport when I got the passport request letter to finalise the decision reached on my application for temporary residence. A day after the embassy received my passport, thus on April 17th, I got e-mail in myCIC that my application for the study permit has been approved and if a visa has been issued (if required), I should also arrived in Canada before the visa expiring date. That was all. But I need my passport and no news again.
