Dear All,

My current situation:
Finishing my PhD by Jan 2019, and I have accepted an offer of NOC A 2-yr contract job starting right after I graduate. My current study permit will expire in April 2019. My wife is on OWP right now.

Question:
I will be applying for PGWP in Feb 2019; as I learned from previous threads, my wife can only apply for OWP extension until I receive 3 pay slips (which might be 3 months...).
My question is, can she keep working til her OWP expires (which is the same with my study permit)?
I understand that I will lose my study permit once I apply for the PGWP. I am just wondering whether she will have to stop working because of my status transition.

Thank you so much in advance. I greatly appreciate your help!
