Hello all, My brother is filling forms for Canada visa for her 7 yr old daughter. He already has a visitor visa and the application is only for her daughter. Would he need to fill the use of representative (Form IMM5476) in the online application.
Question asked -
* Are you applying on behalf of someone else? (required)If you're preparing an application for someone else, you're a representative. To be someone's representative, you must provide the right forms to show you have their permission to handle their application for them.
He created the login and filled in daughter's details for visa application.
We are confused on this as minor child won’t be obviously doing the online application on her own. Do parents need to fill representative form if only applying for minor child?
Thanks
Use "USE OF REPRESENTATIVE" form and fill in basis information of the parent along with section - "Uncompensated Family Member" whose IRCC account will be used.
