Does internship count for PGWP?

Hello,
I have applied for a course, the duration of which is 18 months. Divided into: 12 months Academic program and 6 months internship. So, will that internship count during applying for PGWP? Am I eligible for three years PGWP? Though the consultant said so, I have a doubt.

If the internship is a mandatory part of your study program then it will count . Duration of the PGWP in my opinion would be 18 months unless it is a master's program in which case it would be 3 years.

Agree with above a program that is 18 months equals an 18 month PGWP. There are some exceptions such as if accelerated program or a masters but read the following link for official guidance

Thanks. Yes. It is a masters degree and the internship is mandatory (part of the course). Though we will have to search for it on our own.
