Does ESL program play a crucial role in extending study permit ?

Hi, i am an international student. I learnt ESL in George Brown College 6 months ago, and I am currently studying the main course in Seneca. My current status now with my main major (CPA) last semester is A for all subjects. However, I wonder whether ESL affected my progress in extending my study permit or not because I only got a grade C (63 - 66) in ESL Level 8 at George Brown, but also my attendance in this course is not good or bad, i only had absences from in-person classes in 6 or 7 on 27 days which should be equal to more than 70%. Is it will make it harder to extend my study permit? I also want to ask whether ESL Level 8 in George Brown College has an Official Academic Record transcripts or not. Thanks
