Does education need to be matched to NOC?

this is the question several new applicants are asking at this forum but their Threads ,usually, get un-noticed.
i have read on this forum that Education does not need to match to NOC. BUT , It is Job and Job Duties that are important.

BUT,

i have read in a couple of threads , recently, Replied by juniors, that Education Must be Matched to NOC.........? :-\ :-X :-X :-\ :-X

so please .....SENIORS! answer this question in details as this will help a great numbers of new applicants.

I am not a senior to begin with. Education need not match NOC. Your experience, minimally must match NOC requirement for experience. I will watch this thread for seniors to opine, if different.
