Does Digital signature works for work reference letter on company letter head from company HR for PR Application?

I also need to confirm this. I also got digitally signed ref. letter.

Considering COVID, I would think yes. However, I could see IRCC being more likely to contact employers to verify.

Like a scanned version of the signature and attached to the PDF version of the reference letter? If yes, my reference letters were like that last year when I submitted my app. Got no problems.
