Does dependents with Visitor Visa need written authorization letter from IRCC to unite with Family in Canada?

Hi Friends,

I'm currently in Toronto with Work permit. My dependents (Spouse and Kid) are in India with valid TRV (Visitor VISA). Dose they need written authorization letter from IRCC to come to Canada? Please advice.

If yes, Can someone please send me the link to request for the Authorization letter.

I have a question here.. the link again route to 4 links. For my case i chose 1st link (If you have a valid visitor visa or an application in progress ). It again Route to "Continue to Webform" . Here is where i need to fill my information to get the letter?

Yes. Each person needs a letter.

in the webform there are 2 question at last "what did you apply for" and "Specifically what application did you submit".. Should i choose Temporary residence for 1st and TRV for 2nd?

Each need a webform because they both need letters of authorization.
