when i sent my PR application, i used my friends address as my mailing address because i would be out of country for a while and didnt want to lose any letters from cic.
now that im back in country, i could change the mailing address back to my own address.
but i would like to know if changing mailing address would slow down my application process in any way.
it might sound silly but i dont wanna take the risk
the process is already slowed down with the strike which just finished
If you have recently submitted your application, changing your address probably won't affect your process at all.
If you provided your email, they would communicate you by email mostly.
Plus you probably won't hear back from the visa office in like 6+ months after submission anyways

No. Shoot them an email stating your filenumber, name, DoB and
update them with your new mailing address.
It won't affect the processing time of your application.

I am gonna submit my application soon . I would be moving to a new address in 3 weeks so should I wait till I change the address or shall i raise a web form after submitting the application ?
