Does Bow Valley College refund the $1500 confirmation fee?

Does anyone know if Bow Valley College refunds the confirmation fee which is $1500 CAD, in case of study permit refusal? I sent them an inquiry two weeks ago and they didn't respond yet, and I hope to apply soon.

Also do you know if it's deposited towards tuition? That's a lot of money not to be refunded or credited towards tuition.

Googled according this link confirmation fee is non refundable. Credited towards fees if attending course.

Thank you for the link! I actually read those policies more than once that's why I am asking if any BVC students around here know about this.
Good to know it's applied as tuition credit.
I'll also update this when BVC responds to my inquiries.

I just got a response from their international department, answering all of the above inquiries. Quoting it below for future applicants.

The confirmation fee of CAD $ 1,500 cannot be waived and acts as a deposit. It is part of the tuition fee and can be refunded if you receive a study permit refusal and present proof thereof before the study permit deadline. Failing to present this proof before the deadline will result in not being able to receive the refund.
