I'm originally from India & currently working in Dubai as Senior accountant & have been employed for almost 8 years (4 years in India & 4 years in Qatar) now in the finance and accounting field. I'm a member of chartered accountancy body of UK and hold a bachelors degree in finance & accounting. I recently, received an unconditional offer letter from a university for an MBA program.
So I thought of resigning my current job in Dubai and going back to my home country to apply for student visa, since the visa processing is faster & high visa acceptance in India compared to Dubai and also I have time constraint. I will apply for the visa as soon as I land in India.
Therefore, can anyone tell me that being unemployed (although for a short period) while applying for the study permit have an affect on the chances of getting visa accepted?
Please advise.
