I worked part time throughout my MA (for 2 years) as a research assistant as well as a teaching assistant. My work as a teaching assistant was compensated by a salary and my work as a research assistant was compensated by a stipend given by my advisor.
With this in mind, would the work as a research assistant also count as work experience for the Federal Express Skilled Worker program?
I plan on moving to Canada for my PhD and I would much rather be a PR than an international student. I am wondering whether I should work another year as a teaching assistant in order to get a full year of full time experience, or if I can just apply already now (once I take English and French exams, ofc).
