Does a Visitor visa for a F1 student hamper chances for Study Permit later on?

Hello all!

I am a F1 student in the US at a top ten university. I was thinking of visiting Canada over spring break. How much money do I need to show in the bank for my application to get approved? Is there any monetary constrain to begin with? I will be staying with a friend, so there are no living costs in Canada for me.

Second question, I was hoping to apply to business schools in Canada in the future. Would a visitor visa now hamper my chances of getting a study permit later on?
