I was born in February 1999 so I am 19 years old now.
I was filling out the application form and met the question about filing a return. I have never worked here which means I have no income so far.
If I want to apply for Canadian citizenship do I have to file a tax return for the past 3 years(2015, 2016 and 2017) first, even though I have no income and was not requested to file a return from CRA?
Please help me out with your knowledge. Thank you so much for your help in advance.
You have to comply with the CRA requirements for 3 years, not file your taxes for 3 years.
If you had no income, put no in both the required and filed tabs and you'll be good.
