Is a 1 year full time program consisting of two semesters (at a DLI) with one of the semesters being academic and the other semester being a field placement (managed by the faculty), eligible for PGWP?
The PGWP requirement refers to at least an 8 month program at a DLI, but I am just trying to find out is the field placement semester still falls within this definition? I think it does but I would not want to take on a program if the IRCC decides the field placement isn't academic learning and therefore won't recognise the second semester as part of a 1 year program.

From the Durham website: "Your learning experience will be complemented by a 500-hour field placement as part of your program. Assistance in securing this position is provided by faculty."

Would verify with your school about whether others have easily qualified for PGWP. It does say that you need a minimum of 2 semesters. Really depends on how the placement is viewed.
