documents returned and decision made at ECAS

Hi everybody,
My husband has just received a returned documents from CIC Manila and when he has an information regarding his application from ECAS that "decision has been made and the CIC will contact him". His passport was requested in September. I was disappointed to know that it was not included in returned documents. What does this mean? Is there anyone who has this experience?

Hello everybody,

My husband has just received a separate mail from CIC and he already got his visa that is valid until July 2009.

Here is our time line:

July 29 - all docs submitted to Mississauga
September 5 - received a sponsorship approval
September 29 - passport submitted and other lacking required documents by CIC
October 14 - all supporting docs returned ( photos, receipts etc.)
October 15 - passport with visa and COPR received.

Good luck to everyone whose application is on its way.
To those who are just starting, I suggest to read all your papers a hundred times to ensure that it is complete and if not sure what to fill, ask from anybody here. You'll get all the answer from this forum.
