I received the "notice to appear-to write a citizenship test...".
Along with the 2-page notice, there are 2 "important notice" as well, one blue and one white.
In both, it is mentioned that I should bring the photocopies of my passports.
Now, I have two questions:
1- Is this a general letter that CIC sends to everyone (they request these copies from everybody?)?
2- When I applied for citizenship, I put certified translation of all pages of my passports.
Since then, I did not travel outside (there is nothing new in my passports). Does the officer have my file with him/her (including those certified copies)?
I can make photocopies of all pages again, but I do not want to pay for certified translation again.

It depends on the visa office I think. I received that notice plus one pink/red "important" notice.
1) Yes, they always ask you to bring photocopies of the biographical pages of all current and past passports. From everyone.
2) At my interview, the interviewer had the copies I sent with my application. To be honest, she didn't even look at my new copies. I *think* why they ask for photocopies is they want to see if you got a new passport since the time you mailed in your application. And if you did, they want to have photocopies that you can give them. And if your passport didn't change, they don't care about your new copies. But I would play it safe and bring translated photocopies again. They will always appreciate people who follow all the instructions, even if not needed at the end. One person there even told me so, complaining why don't people just follow the instructions.
