we were recently approved as provincial nominee, now waiting for our passports to arrive with the visa from UAE, .....we plan on going to Canada on February next year but since our contract here in Saudi Arabia is not yet finished we plan on going back to saudi after a few days,....question....should we wait for our PR card before going back to saudi or we can leave canada without the PR card,....what documents do they check in the airport for us to leave Canada....please help
when living canada you do not need a pr but when bording the plaine it may be necessary to show the landing doc. otherwise on return at the irport need a passport and your pr card. if you do not have a pr on return, you will have to get an entry visa i.e vistor visa or trv. if you have relations that you could use their address to get pr then posted to you by recorded means.

If they don't receive their PR cards they will have to obtain a travel document from CHC, the information is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/travel.asp Note TRVs are for visitors only.
thank you so much,.... this info helped a lot,.....another question, since we will only be staying for 45- to 60 days just to wait for the pr card,.... where do you think is the best place to stay,....since we cannot stay with our relatives for such a long time, their place is small, we need a separate accomodation,....are the hotels any good in winnipeg, in terms of price and service..what would you suggest in this case....we also plan to find jobs while waiting....please help us
