TRP means temporary residence permit. Yes, cause its legal. So the last stamp you had would be fine. Take a copy of it along with past canadian stamps you got!

Need a help to know whether Work Permit is considered as legal proof of status in Canada. I have said "YES" to below question as I'm residing in Canada with Work Permit. Not having Permanent Resident Card.
Qualifying statements applicable to citizens or nationals of countries that are NOT part of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
• Applicant is a national or permanent resident of the country in which the applicant is applying, and
• If applying for J visa class, the applicant is applying for an academic J visa (secondary or university student, professor, research scholar, short-term scholar, or specialist), and
• Applicant has been previously issued a U.S. visa (any class of visa), and
• Applicant submitted ten fingerprints when the previous U.S. visa was issued, and
• Applicant answered 'NO' to all of the Medical and Health, Criminal, Security or Immigration Law Violation questions on the DS-160 visa application form
•
YES, I confirm that I meet all the above statements based on my citizenship or nationality. I understand that if I misrepresent my qualifications, my visa application will not be processed and I will have to schedule a new visa appointment, which could significantly delay my visa applications.
•
None of the above apply
Since I said YES, they asked me to send the documents. One of the document is below
Copy of Proof of legal status in Canada - Can I send my work permit or they are looking for only PR card copy.
