Do you need document-by-document or course-by-course ECA for express entry?

Please help me figure out which type of educational credential assessment do I need for express entry profile?

There are two types: document-by-document and course-by-course.

I have a master's degree if that matters.

Thank you. And could you tell me a few more things please:
1. If i have my course transcripts only in my native language should I just translate and verify with notary?
2. Does the apostile need to be on the original transcrips or the translation?
