Hi everyone. Am new on this forum and I think it is cool. Well I already wrote my IELTS. As a matter of fact I wrote it in April 2009.and this is my result.
Listening:7
Reading:8.5
writing:6
speaking::7.5
Overall band score 7.5
Could I still use it in 2010 or early 2011.
i think you will not be able to use that because that was more than a year already. it has to be not older than one year when you submit your application. hope this help
I have read somewhere which states that IELTS cert is valid for 2 years.

You can get your IELTS results mailed by the test center for 2 years, however for Canadian immigration purposes the exam results cannot be more than one year old when received by the CIO.
i also received my ielts result...
listening 7
reading 7.5
writing 7
speaking 8
do i need to retake the exam since there was a new update for applications received after june 26, 2009?
with the update for post june 26 apps, there is no change with regards to the pass mark. for ielts however, only general training module acceptable. hope this helps
