My wife (applicant) and I applied for inland sponsorship and received our AOR sometime in early march.
We sent a work permit along with the application.
Her visitor visa expires in mid July.
The way I understand it, we do not need to apply for a visitor visa extension for her while her application is being processed. Correct me please if I am wrong already and part 2 will not be necessary to answer and will just be part of the process.
Heres part 2.
Alberta health allows dependants to be covered while on a visitor visa and have now sent a letter letting us know that we must extend visa in order to extend coverage.
Is there a way to not extend visa and keep health coverage for my wife through AB health? Or should i just extend visa? And how do i do that best?
I know thats a very specific question and dont really expect an answer. But hey! Its worth a shot haha
