i'm going to apply under spp for september intake and i'm confused about mentioning about my sister who is PR in canada. what do you suggest friends? Shall I mention it in family details or just leave it empty?
and please take a minute and have a look at my profile :-
kwantlen polytechnic university for diploma in accounting 2 years
12 lac edu. loan
6.5 overall (6 each)
10th (ICSE) 60 % (2009)
12th (CBSE) 51% (2011) (got compartment in business studies and cleared in august)
If I may ask, why not ask your PR sister to sponsor you for Canadian permanent residence? Wouldn't that save you the hassle of going through the whole study permit process? (I'm assuming you're unmarried.)
thanks brothers
@ world citizen - brother, i don't know about sponsorships and all that...if you would explain me that would be very thankful....and I'm trying for study permit because it'll be easy to get study permit rather than waiting for sponsorship....
enlighten necessary points here please....

His sister probably can't sponsor him. Apart from a very small number of exceptions, this type of sponsorship isn't allowed.
ramansminhas - you must mention your sister and where she lives. Failing to do so is misrepresentation which will either create problems for your student application or for any other Canadian visa or immigration application you submit later.
Yep, scylla is right. Turns out, sibling sponsorship is allowed only in rare situations. You're better off applying for a study permit. Make sure you mention your sister though.
