I have been accepted to the University of Alberta for Fall 2018 intake. It is a thesis program and hence I have been offered full funding for the same. I have a signed/scanned letter from the university stating the amount of funding offered for the first year. (which is enough for the first year)
My question is: Do I still have to include bank statements and affidavit saying my father is willing to sponsor me, or can I just include the letter from the department in the Funding section?
I have read other posts on this forum regarding this but most of them are for a non-funded program.

If your funding covers first year tuition and $10,000 living cost + $2000 (travel), then you don't have to show anything else. Otherwise, the difference need to be shown.

Though its nothing serious but it's advisable to just include it for FORMALITIES, let the VO be aware that without the school funding, you are STILL capable
