Hey guys, I am about to file for PR and I was going through document check list which says about job references for the past three years.
Here is my scenerio - I am an international graduate
Job 1 - I worked as a technical support(noc b) for one month from August 1, 2011 to September 10, 2011.
Job 2 - worked as a technical support(noc b) in other company from October 20, 2011 to present.
I don't have the reference letter for job 1. Do I need to submit job reference for the job 1 I worked for one month or Job 2 is sufficient?
Your input is much appreciated!
Yes, you are supposed to. If you want that 1 month counted, then, absolutely, yes. Even if you don't need it, you should include a written explanation why you haven't included it.
What can a consequence be if someone don't include a written explanation for the job period he don't need which is in skilled category even though he has another skilled job which is satisfying the total experience required? Can your file get rejected?
You are writing an explanation why you haven't provided a reference letter(e.g. employer refused due to company policy, company closed/bankrupt, did not leave on good terms, etc). In addition, you can request a ROE(record of employment) from the employer or from Service Canada and include a copy of your paystubs.
Without a reference letter or other supporting documents, the officer has no way to assess your work experience and will not count it.

I have a question. Before this job in Canada, I worked for 5 months in a different country. Should i provide a letter of reference for this outside Canada job? On the document checklist, its asking the experience in Canada but also the past 3 years jobs?
