Do i need to apply new police clearence certificate

Hi,
I have applied for police clearence certificate for canada work permit when i was in germany 2013, then i received the PCC from the indian embasy (nov 2013). After that I came back to india this year 2014 may, Now my question is still this police clearence certificate valid, In case if i go for work permit visa to canada this pcc still valid or i need to get new one. Note " In the pcc there is know valid peroid not mentioned" please resolve my dought. Thanks

If you have to submit a PCC, it must be no older than 3 months, regardless of any/none expiry date on the document.

The validity of Indian PCC for candian visa is 6 months; however,at the time of submission of file, the PCC should not be more than 3 months old.

Actually i have a confusion where should apply for the pcc??? cos I am holding a passport thats in tamilnadu address but presently i am residing in bagalore, karnataka state, please help me where should apply for the pcc from. thanks regards

You will have to apply from Bangalore. How long have you been in Bangalore ?

You would require pcc from Germany as well as from Bangalore. Contact your Regional passport office for more information or Commissioner office in Bangalore.

Also keep in mind, you only need PCC if CIC make a request for it and obviously it always good to keep it ready but it might be tricky get it from Germany or any place you already left.

I think it would be easier to get it from Germany but harder in India. These kind of things are harder in India not out of India.
