I was issued a student visa / TRV that will expire on March 2018, unfortunately I didnt get the visa in time to start my term last September, so I found a new school that has a January intake but they told me that I need to apply for new visa that will cover the years of study that I'll be having.
I renewed my passport because the passport that has the Student Visa / TRV expires on April 2018
My question is, can't I just extend my current visa when I get to Canada instead of possibly missing another intake?
