I am a permanent resident in the United States I just gained admission into a university in Canada. How much income do I have to present on my bank statement when I am applying for the study permit because I only intend to stay for the semester ( which is 4 months). I know the required income for a 12 months stay is approximately $ 10,000. I don't know what to do since I will be coming back to the US to work in the summer. Also, will I need to go for an interview? if do I have to mail my passport to them even if I apply online? hoping to get a reply soon. Thanks

The duration of my program is 4 years but I plan to return to the United States after every semester. Thanks for your information.

Hey Guys, I've already submitted my visa application online three weeks ago. I know it normally takes 8-10 weeks to process but any chances it my be processed faster since I submitted it online?
