Hi everyone, have a TRP valid till February 22, 2013 and going to send my application for my TWP with a positive LMO to the office in Los Angeles. Right now I'm in Vancouver, should I also apply and pay for the TRV or as I'm already inside Canada I don't need to fill in the TRV form?
If you are applying for TWP then you dont need to apply for TRV as TWP automatically takes TRV into account.
Just need to pay 150 CAD and it includes the fees for TRV as well.
no seperate forms need to be filled.
Thank you Rajaryan. On the document checklist it says i should fill in the IMM 5257, may I should fill it in just to make sure they don't return the application to maybe saying it's incomplete?
Thanks, I'll try to make this the last question and I really appreciate the help so far, question 7 asks current country of residence so I entered my canadian address but then on question 9 asks 'Country where applying', should I just tick 'same as country of residence' as I'm still in Canada or should I select 'no' and select the US? if I have to select the US what should I enter for my status as I'm not physically there but just sending my application to an office there?
Country of Applying is where (which country embassy) ur submitting ur application.
If you are already in Canada, then why are you not applying for TWP from Inside Canada. I think their is an online submission for TWP inside Canada.
Yes there is an online application but as Im on a trp I could only apply online if my trp was longer than 6 months, I even called the cic to make that clear.
