My permanent residency has been approved in principle this summer. It is now in process. I understand that I have an implied status under my husband who sponsored me who is a Canadian citizen. I was already given the green light to apply for an open work permit which was issued just recently. In the mean time, I plan to take a course on Continuing Studies like Basic Bookkeeping and Simply Accounting. These are 3 hour night classes twice a week for 1 month. Do I need a Study Permit to do this?

No, as it is not full time and is less than 6 months.
