Do I need a police clearance

Hi all,

Please I need clarification. I spend 5 months, 30 days in US ( December 2 - December 7 2015 and march 7 - August 30, 2016). I have 30 days left to submit my application, The time I spent is nearly 6 months. Should I apply for police clearance certificate?

Always err on the side of caution in these matters. Technically you might be OK, but you never know.

Apply now. FBI Clearances take ages.

yes , you should apply for PC as soon because any period 6 month or over 6 month in any country need police certificate

Submit your application without US PCC as it wasn't 6 months but apply for it in case CIC will want it in the future. This way you'll be ready.

your application for or will be rejected if you do not upload your PCC from US... apply for it and show any proof of the application before you miss your deadline

I have provided police clearance for UAE and India while applying for student visa a year ago . I am an indian and I understand that I have to provide it for India again. I lived in UAE till 2014 should I get a PCC again now even after I have provided it already.

Yes, you need a PCC for the UAE. The two applications are not related.
