My current Work Permit was issued under an LMIA, however my Work Permit will expire in a few months.
As I'm not changing employers, will they need to get a new LMIA to extend my WP or just the job contract will work?

My contract doesn't have an end date, my work permit will be renewed because I got a new passport and if won't be a job advertisement and I'll be working on the same role, a new LMIA is not needed?

Your old work permit has an expiry date. If it is up, then you should stop working. If you would like to do the same role again, you need a new work permit. Your employer needs to obtain another approved LMIA (by starting to go the process of advertising the job again) and after securing an approved LMIA, that's the time you can apply for a work permit. I hope it helps.
