Do I need a med exam to work in healthcare - but no contact with people?

Hello, I just finished paramedic academy and started working with BC Ambulance under Provincial Health Services Authority. I am an emergency medical call taker, I tell people how to do CPR or administer medications over the phone. As per IRCC, people working in healthcare need to do med exam, but I work in a dispatch centre, basically an office, not a healthcare setting. I do not have physical contact with the patients. I do not plan to work as a paramedic for a couple years. Must I get a medical exam still? I just had my PGWP approved, not sure yet if it has the healthcare restriction, but asking in advance.
