Hey guys,

I sent in my work permit extension for a visitor visa a couple months back. It looks like it wont be processed in time that my current work permit will expire on.

Will I have to flagpole at one of the borders to get my visitor visa?

Or is it implied status where I can just remain in Canada?

Any help is appreciated !

1. No you don't have to "flagpole", you will have implied status as a visitor, until IRCC makes a decision on your application for extension as a visitor.
