Not necessarily, but I would recommend.
If you can get a recommendation letter from your empoloyer, where is is stating his willingness to have you back after the completition of your studies - that will be great!
Having a secured position after you studies in your homeland is crucial!

Thank you for replying. Actually I won't return back to the country I am in right now. I will be going back to my home country. Considering that I have a 3 year experience since my graduation, and to satisfy what I was doing this period, should I give the employment letter? Because getting an employment letter in Saudi Arabia is too difficult. Companies usually don't want to take any responsibility. Please guide

I presume Saudi Arabia is not your homeland? After your studies you will go back to your homeland, correct? Recomendation letter from your current employer is good to have, regardless if you go back or not. But if you can find someone in your homeland, who can vouch for you that will help a lot. What they see and seek is strong connection to your homeland. Your parents property or finances are acceptable while you are studying, but the visa office will want something more concrete in order to approve your visa.

Absolutely!
Listen, all of us (international students) have families and loved ones in our homeland... The visa officer will not be impressed if you use them as your only proof of evidence that you will return home. They need to see a serious, dedicated student who thinks years ahead - that is he has secure future in his homeland, not in Canada... Try to empahsise this issue in your Letter of Explenation.. Trust me if you turn out to be the next Einstein or Paster they will make sure how to keep you in Canada, but overall most of us, see these studies as a platform for easier immigration - that's all
