Do I have to extend my stay again?

My current visitor record runs out in a little under a month from now of. I thought it was kind of strange I was only given 4 months and not 6 months to start with too?! I know we can order notes to see why but I am really feeling apprehensive about it and probably causing more stress! I am just over 5 months into the process and since all the strike is going in I have no clue whatsoever what's going on!

Could any of you make it a little clearer for me? Since I'd pretty much have to extend my stay once again

And also.. Are there any chances of being denied since I only got 4 months when I have a pending OWP and spousal inland application?

You don't need to extend your visitor status; the submission of the OWP app gives you Implied Status.

Yes. Implied Status until you get a decision on the OWP.

5.6. Inland applications for permanent residence

In situations where an applicant who has visitor status submits an application for permanent residence to Vegreville and at the same time submits an application for a work permit (pursuant to R207(b)), the visitor may be considered to have requested an extension of their TR status (in accordance with R183(5)). They are considered to have implied status as a visitor, until a decision is made on their WP application. When no application for a work or study permit is received with the application for permanent residence, the applicant is obliged to apply to extend their visitor status.
