Do i(as a parent) need to sign Minor citizenship application if he is under 14?

Do i (as a parent) need to sign Minor citizenship application if he is under 14?
or should we leave that as blank and sign only in PARENT's signature box?

It would be okay not to sign, but for my 5year old daughter's application,i signed it myself with 'for' before the signature.
