Do I apply for GCMS notes again?

I had applied for GCMS notes at Nov end which is approximately a month and a half after submitting my application for Express entry to check if I had submitted my documents correctly. During that we found that my wife's father's name had been misspelled and brought it to the notice of cic. Its been more than 3 months since i submitted my application. My eligibility check is going on and my criminal and background check has not yet started. Do I order gcms notes to check where exactly is my application at the moment. Also do i mail cic if they need any documents from my end to prove my eligibility?
