Are there other people who are still waiting for PPR after receiving DM???
I received DM on Sept 29 2017 and haven't received any PPR yet!!
Others who received DM with me already received PPR!

So... three weeks?

That's pretty normal.

Yes three weeks!
PPR usually comes right after DM.
And as per my last GCMS notes, officer had mentioned to send PPR (dated august 25)
Why would they delay it this much?????

No. PPR usually comes after. "right after" is not common. As I said, three weeks is pretty common.

You're dealing with bureaucracy; it's not quick.

How long should we wait then, to not consider it "common" or "normal"????

It would probably be reasonable to send a case specific enquiry after about 6-8 weeks.

You really need to calm down, though - it's not as though the result is in question. You didn't have an interview? You didn't have a procedural fairness letter? Decision Made is approval. And you only applied ten months ago, so you had a fast run through the whole system.

A bunch of Ottawa/Mississauga applicants who got their DM on September 1st are still waiting for their PPR email.

Seems like the delay is happening at every VO! Ottawa used to be faster than most....

NDVO has been incredibly quick this year. I know of a few people, not from NDVO, who got DM sep.1 and haven't gotten PPR yet.

We are one of the people who got DM in early Sept. Still no PPR/COPR. I really hope it comes soon as my wife can withdraw her pension from her country once receiving PPR but the rules change the end of this year and she won't be able to unless she gets citizenship if it doesn't come before the end of the year...

Oct 10 bcg in process .I am april 20 applicant dont know how much to wait for dm and ppr.
Why Ndvo is taking so long time for giving us dm.

A lot of the offices who were faster seemed to have slowed down some with the new way they are doing things. I had to wait 2 months for PPR from Ottawa/Mississauge offices so NDVO may be taking a little longer as well. Just be patient and before you know it you will be in Canada.

I had sent a CSE to NDVO on october 20th telling them to make sure they had my email in file, and that as per my GCMS notes PPR should be sent....I also asked for an update on my file, and on October 27th they replied to my CSE with PPR! So you guys can try also.
Good luck :)

My bgc took one month before changing to DM! Wait some more days, it should come anytime!!
