Divorced woman and want to apply for a visitors visa along with my daughter.

Hi,
I am legally divorced and my daughter lives with me. I want to apply for a TRV with my daughter. I will be sponsoring myself and her.

I have the following questions:

1. Do I need to submit the custody documents during the application? Or are they only required while arriving in Canada?
2. My ex-husband has a valid Canadian visitors visa. Can this impact on my application?
3. If my application is refused. Will it have any impact on my ex-husband's TRV?
