Hi All,

Just wanted to know my spouse has done his 3 yr graduation ( FY - TY ) from distance education, Mumbai - India
Are his education valid and will it earn us pts. Ineed around 4 pts to come to a total of 67. I got an overall total of 7 in my IELTS. We have applied for immigration to canada we even got a letter saying that we r eliglble. but now my agent told me that as my spouse is distance education he wont be eliglble. Then suddenly he tells me YES we can go ahead with his education as it is acceptable.

Can you please help.

if your local country immigration office says yes then you need not to worry about consultant.

Remember consultant defination is: 'Consultant is a person who uses your watch to tell you the time and charge you'

They are not experts and just learn from practicles done on us

If you are from India , send an email to Immigration office. They may revert back in one week time or so. Mean time start collecting your papers

Search "OP6 CIC" on google. It is a pdf file. Go to the pdf file and do a search on the word "distance" and you should find that distance learning is recognised by CIC as long as the Institution is recognised in the country where it is based.
