Does Canadian Consulate give weightage to the correspondence degree or in other words Bachelor's degree earned through Distance education ? Is there anyone who has had any experience or got a correspondence degree and applied previously or recently ?
I have done first two years of bachelor's degree regular but the last year through correspondence and my Degree certificate NOT DMC states that i;ve got the bachelor's degree done through distance education programme. what do you guys think how would the embassy view my case?
one of my friend has also done 10th and 12th in distance mode. He consulted with CSIC certified consulted and he told him there is no problem with that but as far as I am concern CHC has system to verify it directly from the university. My friend is about to file his case within two day. let c what happen?
Actually i have heard (rather told by a friend who were told by a csic approved Representative) that Embassy of canada does not value distance education but i personally have not come across anyone who has had any experience...Also,DMC of 3rd year looks exactly like the one regular students get and i do not think embassy verifies all the DMC's n all..
I ain;t got any gap buddy + got 7 band in IELTS..been accepted by a college too but it still ain't enough b'cz for canada..colleges and embassy's requirements differ..If college accepts you then the embassy should not have any problem because it shud be the college's headache as to who should be accepted on what course but THE SAD AND ANNOYING THING IS IT ISN'T LIKE THAT..
There isn't any co-ordination between CHC and Colleges..the same qualifications/ceredentials on the basis of college gives admission, are being refused by embassy stating previous studies doesnt match, the course is irrelevant. I guess first embassy should sort out with colleges and decide who should be given the authority to decide so that they should be intune.
Buddy i do not know the answer to your question as am also seeking the answer to my question just as u do..there ain't much help availiable to us so i guess we gotta take some risk
