Hello,
I am scanning a photo for my application. I cropped around the photo to scan it as leaving most of an A4 page blank didn't make sense to me. The photo was originally the correct specifications (just over
35mm x 45mm) but after scanning, when you open up the jpeg file it will be bigger (i.e. head, from chin to crown bigger than 36mm on the computer screen).
Is that ok?
The thing is when I reduced the file size to 420 x 540 pixels it does go down to the specified size on a computer screen, but the file size goes way down to under 60kb, which they say is not accepted.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
