Hello. My current passport expires beginning of 2026. I have asked for a new one which I should receive early May. I am accepted at University of Montreal as an undergraduate for september 2025 intake. Is it possible to apply for the CAQ for Quebec now with my current passport and later apply for the Study Permit with my new passport? I could add a letter to my study permit application explaining why the passport numbers are different but do not want to risk my study permit application to be delayed or rejected because of the different passport numbers, is it a risk?
